The best I've got back was a shirt that was £5 without the receipt, and I got the money back on a gift card. THe only reason I got a refund was because the woman that was working in the shop was my Mum's drinking buddy! (No I don't live with my parents, I live in the same town though)

If you see someone that buys one, just ask them for the receipt. I remember a few times i would look for a receipt for a valuble item outside a store, then go in, take it off the shelf and try to return it Made a quick £35 for a game
