Moderators do what they feel is best to protect the bots.

If you have a dispute regarding a ban, there is a contact administrator link at the bottom of the forum. The administrators will settle any wrong doing to assure that fairness is met.

But the hard work of TBN coders must not be sacrificed. That's why the staff is strict.

lufthansa, if you saw the amount of spam like posts that get allowed you may not think we are too strict. If anything we are pretty lenient about spam.

I always warn first, and delete posts before banning unless its outright spam, but
Its up to each Moderator to decide, and like Deacon Frost said, you can always ask for another look at your account. If you see a deleted post of yours that you think is unfair, just pm me, I will be happy to take a 2nd look.

Some days there is so much spam, its not always easy to sort through whats spam and what isnt. The newer the poster, the more its going to get looked at, as we are not familier with that poster yet.

However spamming just to get a bot will not be tolerated.

As a coder myself, I have personal issues with people spamming to get post count. We did not make the bots for ungrateful people to basically steal the bot. If you want the bot, you can do like the rest, and contribute in constructive posts to the forum. If you cannot find any constructive things to say, this forum is not for you.

If your post was deleted, it was a breech of the rules. Whether you meant to spam for post count or you just wanted to say thanks, it is just a job for moderators to clean up. If you wish to thank coders, do it through rep or via private message.
